As a Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA), Clara is authorized by the IRS to assist individuals who need an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN). This is particularly valuable for individuals who are not eligible for a Social Security Number but still need to file taxes. As an IRS Annual Filing Season Participant (AFSP), Clara stays ahead of changing tax laws, offering tailored solutions to both individuals and businesses. Under her leadership, Clary’s Tax Service has earned a respected place in Katy’s Business Hall of Fame for eight consecutive years, thanks to its exceptional service and commitment to clients.

Paola Herrera is the Senior Tax Preparer and Bookkeeper, bringing 14 years of experience in tax preparation. She specializes in individual tax preparation, helping clients navigate tax filings with accuracy and efficiency.

As a dedicated VITA volunteer for 10 years, Paola has provided free tax assistance to underserved communities, reinforcing her commitment to accessible and reliable tax services. She is also an Annual Filing Season Participant (AFSP), staying up to date with tax laws and industry best practices to better serve her clients.

Paola takes a client-focused approach, ensuring that each taxpayer understands their return and maximizes their eligible deductions. Her attention to detail and commitment to accuracy help clients feel confident in their filings. Whether assisting individuals with annual tax returns or providing bookkeeping support for businesses, she is dedicated to delivering reliable and professional service.

Martin Jimenez began his journey in tax preparation out of a passion for helping individuals and businesses navigate complex tax matters. In February 2025, he obtained Enrolled Agent (EA) status with the IRS, granting him the authority to represent clients before the IRS in audits, collections, and appeals.

His expertise includes business tax strategies, individual tax filings, and tax resolution, addressing issues such as IRS debt, back taxes, levies, and payment plans. Staying up to date with evolving tax laws and regulations, he ensures clients receive the best possible outcomes.

As a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), Martin is committed to professional excellence and continuous education, providing accurate, strategic tax solutions tailored to each client’s unique financial situation.
